||China,Latvia : China views Latvia as key transit station for China-EU trade
||As visiting Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and his hosts have all voiced strong interest in further expanding practical cooperation, China's ties with Latvia will leap forward.
During talks in Riga on Friday with his Latvian counterpart, Maris Kucinskis, Li said China views Latvia as a key transit station for China-EU trade.
He promoted China's cost-efficient equipment and wealth of experience in railway and port construction, and said China stands ready to take part in key projects including Rail Baltica and the three-sea harbor district.
Kucinskis said Latvia seeks to take part in China's Belt and Road Initiative and collaborate in infrastructure, transportation, logistics, clean oil refining, tourism, education and farm products.
