||United States : CACI Awarded $48 Million Task Order to Provide Engineering and Logistics Support to U.S. Naval Surface Warfare Center
||CACI International Inc announced that it has been awarded a $48 million task order to provide engineering and technical related services (ETRS) to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division. The five-year, single-award contract, awarded under the U.S. Navys SeaPort II Omnibus Engineering and Technical Support Services contract vehicle, represents continuing engineering services work in CACIs Surveillance and Reconnaissance market area.
CACI will support the Divisions Picatinny Detachment, which manages gun weapons systems, ammunition, packaging, handling, storage, and transportation of ordnance materials for the Navy. CACI will provide technical systems engineering analysis, engineering studies, test and evaluation support, and integrated product support for multiple gun weapons systems. The company will also provide engineering, technical, and logistics support services to the programs responsible for acquiring, managing, storing, transporting, and deploying all conventional naval ammunition and missile weapon systems.
