Summary : South Korea and Russia are negotiating the proposed by the Korean side of the construction of a fish processing and logistics complex in Vladivostok, said the chairman of the South Korean presidential committee for northern economic cooperation, Son Yong Gil.

"In the field of fishery, negotiations are under way with the Russian side on the project of the construction of a fish processing and logistics complex proposed by the Korean enterprise in Vladivostok," said Sean Yong Gil to Russian journalists.

As reported in the committee, the plan for investing in the capacity of the fishing port, logistics capacity for storage of containers, as well as in processing plants within the complex is estimated at about 110 million dollars. The construction project provides for a similar plan, provided that the territory is provided with 70 thousand square meters on Cape Nazimova in Vladivostok.

Son Yong Gil noted that in the field of agriculture between Seoul and Moscow, cooperation is being conducted with a view to seeking investment projects on the basis of the regular conduct of the Russian-Korean business dialogue.

Following the last visit of South Korean President Mun Zhe In in the Russian Federation, when he took part in the East Economic Forum in September 2017, more than 15 documents were signed. Also, the South Korean president invited Russia to build "nine bridges" of cooperation, including energy and transport. Later, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that Russia was ready to cooperate with South Korea in several areas and implement the "nine bridges" initiative.
