||Bangladesh : Belarusian Potash Company inks one-year contract with BADC to ship fertilizers
||The Belarusian Potash Company (BPC) has entered into a one-year contract with the Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) to ship 180,000 tonnes of pink standard MOP from 1 July 2016. The price depends upon formula.
BPC Director General of BPC Yelena Kudryavets said, We place significant emphasis on our cooperation with Bangladesh. Today, BPC is an indisputable leader on the promising market of this actively developing country. The ground for such results is the high quality of our products, efficiency, good logistics, trust-based and respectful relations with our partners.
At the meet, the BADC management expressed intention to explore the possibility of buying other kinds of fertilizers in Belarus, along with tractors and agricultural machinery.
The data indicates that, in 2015, BPC accounted for 55% of the potash market in Bangladesh.
