Summary : The Government of the Republic of Korea delivered the Airport Security teams to the Regional Logistics Center for Humanitarian Assistance (CLRAH) "including two X-ray units and two Metal Detector Frames, which will strengthen the capabilities of the CLRAH or Humanitarian Hub in the activities of reception, handling of supplies and equipment, as well as mobilization of human resources.

The Director of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Selina Baos, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Panama, expressed her gratitude to the Korean Ambassador, Choo Won Hoon, noting that this cooperation, which reaches B /. 98,914.00, is part of the National Cooperation Plan "Panama Coopera 2030" will help in compliance with international procedures and protocols of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) within the Humanitarian Hub, and are key to achieving coordinated, timely delivery and effective humanitarian supplies and equipment to the countries of the region affected by disasters.

The National Cooperation Plan "Panama Coopera 2030", launched in May 2017, as an unprecedented initiative, has among its objectives to optimize and ensure the efficient use of resources, based on national priorities while formalizing the incursion of Panama as a country offering cooperation, putting its strengths at the service of the international community.

The Deputy Minister of Government, Gina Luciani de Sossa, was present at the event; the Director of the Emergency Operations Center of the National Civil Protection System, Yazmin Delgado; the Executive Director of CLRAH, Carlos Gmez; the Coordinator of Technical Cooperation of the Ministry of Government, Edith Castillo; and the Manager of Regional Airport Operations and Cargo, Rosa Muoz.
